Supervisor’s Network
The Middle TN Supervisors’ Network is going statewide! It will now be called the TN Supervisors’ Network. The network is a monthly virtual meeting of any AAMFT Approved Supervisors or Supervisors in Training. We meet to discuss issues related to supervision and to support each other’s work. If you are interested in being added to the group mail list, please email Randy Halstead at halsteadlmft@gmail.com to be included. The next meeting of the statewide network is Wednesday, May 22 at 9:00 a.m. CT. The meetings are always the fourth Wednesday of the month at 9:00 am CT.

Learning Objectives
1. Participants will be able to accurately identify signs and symptoms of and differentiate between burnout, compassion fatigue, and vicarious trauma.
2. Participants will be able to identify benefits of personal and professional self-care to their practice of therapy and ways to help clients incorporate self-care in daily life.
3. Participants will learn basic skills and obtain resources to increase regular self-care practices.
4. Participants will be able to conceptualize self-care more holistically and apply practical knowledge related to self-care through creating a personalized self-care plan.

Advancements in Therapy/ TNAMFT Town Hall - September 27
The annual TNAMFT Town Hall Meeting will once again occur in cooperation with Lipscomb University’s Advancements in Therapy Workshop, scheduled for Friday, September 27. Last year’s event with Dr. Bill Doherty was very well received, and we are excited to announce that this year we plan to feature another nationally prominent MFT: Dr. Terry Hargrave, founder of Restoration Therapy. More details to come in future newsletters and via social media.
